Vivianne Blanlot

Vivianne Blanlot Soza (born October 22, 1956 in La Serena, Chile) is a Chilean economist and politician. She studied economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. In 2006 Michelle Bachelet appointed her as Minister of National Defense.[1] She acted as government envoy at the funeral of Augusto Pinochet where she faced boos from Pinochet mourners.[2] She was replaced by Jose Goni Carrasco in March 2007.[3]
